Jean DeArmond Ward

Jean DeArmond Ward passed away peacefully Thursday evening, October 6, 2016 at Shannondale Health Center. Preceded in death by: Husband of 61 years, Coy; Infant Daughter, Melissa Ann. Survivors include: Daughters, Becky Hunter and Nancy Watlington (Jay); Five Grandchildren, Warren Hunter, Ryan Hunter (Angie), John Watlington, Julie Watlington Subsavad (Lake), and Jesse Watlington (Brittany); Great-Grandchildren, Haley Hunter, Sammi and Coy Hunter, Madison & Micah Subsavad, and Amelia Watlington, Athena & Cayla Rodriguez. Jean was a very active church member in both Robertsville Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church of Maryville. She worked for many years for Bill O’Kain Insurance Agency in Oak Ridge, then at ETOMS when she returned to Maryville. She received excellent care from some very special ladies at home and also from very special staff at Shannondale of Maryville. Family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 10, 2016 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Carolyn Blevins officiating.
