Jean Wilson Hearon

Jean Wilson Hearon, born October 5, 1923 passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Jean was a long-time member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for the Junior Class for many years. She was a teacher in the Blount County School System for 36 years and was the past president of the Blount County Farm Bureau Women's Association. She was preceded in death by: parents, William T. & Mollie Wilson; brothers, Allen & James M. Wilson; sister, Gnez Kerr. Survivors include: husband of 66 years, Sterling W. Hearon; son, Dennis Hearon; three grandchildren, Denisa, Shanna, and Daryl Hearon; great-grandson, Houston Hearon; sister, Maxine Wilson; brother, Tom Wilson; and many loving nieces, nephews, and good friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Clifton Hearon and Rev. Beecher Whitehead officiating and special music by Scott Linginfelter. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mt.
