Jean Herard Carrigan

Jean Herard Carrigan, 90, of Friendsville, passed away on February 17, 2025. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She loved spending time with family, her pets, reading, doing puzzles, shopping, traveling, motorcycle riding, going to movies and shows, and picnics in the park. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Francis Carrigan Jr., and parents, Louis A. and Mary Ellen Herard. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Jean Carrigan, Meaghan Carrigan Seigler (Benjamin H. Seigler), Erin Carrigan Richardson (David Richardson); grandchildren, Deven Jean Haun (Gene Haun), Kyle Thomas Richardson, Jade Lee Seigler (Tony McCarter Jr.), Magan Lee Kwan, Crystal June Alvear and sister, Audrey Marie Bishop. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Blount County Humane Society. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on February 25th at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on February 26th at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
