Jason Aaron Deck

Jason Aaron Deck, age 41, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Jason was a member of Hillview Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Jason’s favorite pastimes were talking to his kids about sports and watching them play sports. He had most recently become a huge fan of UT Martin, where his daughter, Courtney, has committed to play softball. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Deck, his mother, Sarah Deck Walker, and his sister, Linda Deck Inman. Jason is survived by his wife, Michelle Walker Deck, and his five children: Courtney (age 18), William (age 16), Wesley (age 13), Caitlyn (age 8), and Grayson (age 6). He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Shelia Copeland (Mark), Cindy McDevitt (Matt), Doug Deck (Kelly Tallent), his brother-in-law, Mark Inman, his step-father, Bill Walker, his mother-in-law, Jane Walker, his sister-in-law and her spouse, Shannon Walker Phillips (Johnny), and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2019 in the Smith West Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the interment with Cousin Rev. Chris Reneau officiating.
