Janis R. Boring

Janis R. Boring age 58 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family Wayne, Laura, Amanda and Tim. Janis had a long career working with the public, the last 18 years working with Blount Co. Clerk's Office. Preceded in death by: Parents, Wallace & Betty Boring; Siblings, Sharon L. Collins, William B. Boring Sr., and Gayle A. Boring. Survivors include: Husband, Charles Wayne Boring; Nephews & Nieces, Darrill L. Collins Jr. & family, Amanda McGhee & family, Laura Collins, William B. Boring Jr., and James W. Boring. She also leaves behind many other family and extended family. Special thanks to Linda Lonas and Pat Carver ("Sis") for love and support over the years. Many thanks to Janis' co-workers and close friends who have showered Janis and her family with endless love and support throughout her battle with cancer. She was and will always be considered a treasured friend to all. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Randy Storie officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
