Janice Robinson Fuson, of Louisville, TN, died peacefully in her sleep at home on May 18, 2014. Janice was born in Maryville, TN on May 28, 1947 to the late James B and Juanita Robinson. She was married in Louisville, TN to Ernest W. Fuson of Crestline, Ohio on June 14, 1969. She graduated from Lee University in June 1969 with a BS in Elementary Education and then taught in the Blount County School System for 28 years. She was very dedicated to all her students and to this day remembered all their names. She always described each child as a sweet little boy or girl. She took great pride in her roses and other flowers as well as her garden and the canned vegetables that she prepared every year for the family. She was an active member of the Topside Church of God, loved music and played piano for the church for decades before her illness. Janice is survived by her husband Dr. Ernest W. Fuson, two children, daughter Amy Fuson Raburn and husband Dr. Michael Raburn, son Matthew Fuson and wife Michelle Fuson. Amy lives in Raleigh, NC and Matthew in Louisville, TN. Her grandchildren are (Amy's Children) Spencer, Emily, Katelyn, Isaac and Ian and (Matthew's Children) Jack, Eli and Maggie, her brother James Michael and Shirley Robinson of Louisville, TN, Sister-in-law Judy Fuson Cravy and husband Mike of Sevierville, TN, Brothers-in-law, Dr. John Fuson and wife Kathie of Crestline, Ohio, Reverend Rick Fuson and Wife Doris of Akron, Ohio, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Smith Trinity Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2014 with funeral to follow at Smith Trinity Chapel. The funeral will be officiated by Reverend Richard Blackburn of Topside Church of God and Reverend Rick Fuson of East Market Street Church of God in Akron, Ohio.
