Jane Verda Walker

Jane Verda Walker of Jacksonville, Florida, originally from Townsend, TN., passed away on April 26, 2017 at the age of 94. She was born in Bell, Tn on November 20, 1922 to Tom and Edna Foster. She was a member of Caylors Baptist Church since May of 1943. She married John E. Walker in July of 1947. She raised two sons, John Mack and Jimmy Edd and her love for her family and home always came first. Theirs was a strong Christian marriage and they lead their family by example and through the teachings of Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband John and her oldest son, John Mack, her brothers Junior and Donald and her sisters MaryAnn Towe, Nell Sue Woodby and Teal Foster. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Edd Walker and grandson, Justin Brett Walker. Graveside services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Townsend, TN on May 4, 2017 at 11 am with the Reverend Larry Overton officiating.
