James Richard Waters, of Walland, TN left this life surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his home. James was the owner/operator of Waters Motors where he loved working. He enjoyed working in his yard, garden and the pool. James was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Elmer & Mary Stephens Waters; Brother, Hubert Waters; Sisters, Shirley Waters and Charlotte Waters; Grandson, Micah Hilliard. Survivors include: Wife of 21 years, Virginia Waters; Sons & Daughter-in-law, Ricky & Penny Waters, Kenny & Cherrie Hilliard, and Denny & Carrie Hilliard; Daughters, Cindy Waters, Beth Hunt & Jim Fox, Jama Waters & Cam Langston, Hollie & Jeremy Killebrew; Grandchildren, Leslie Wilkerson, Derek Hunt, Haley Hilliard, Craig Hilliard, Theodore Killebrew, Eleanor Killebrew, Kalab Hilliard, Zach Hilliard, Olivia Hilliard, Hunter Hilliard; Six Great-Grandchildren; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Ed & Ginger Waters and Marion & JoAnn Waters; Sister, Dorlis Waters; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
