James Michael Walker

James Michael “Jim” Walker, age 61 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was an Instrument Tech Electrician with the computer maintenance crew at CNS, Y-12. Jim was an active member of IBEW Local 760. His favorite hobbies included woodworking and target practice. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Mabel Walker. Survivors include his brother J.S. and wife, Ann Walker; niece, Susan Jones; great-nieces, Rachel & Jessica Jones; special cousins Gary & Aaron Cox and lifelong friend, Walt Johnson. The family will receive friends Monday, April 4, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7pm with Elder Jimmy Cooper officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 2:00pm Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Townsend, TN for the interment.
