James Albert Shirley

James "Jim" Albert Shirley age 94 of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Maryville Healthcare. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and retired from Tropicana Corporation from the Mechanical Maintenance Department, formerly employed with Alcoa, Y-12 Oak Ridge, and Frigidaire Corporation in Dayton, OH. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Preceded in death by: Parents, Lewis & Esther Shirley. Survivors include: Loving and Devoted Wife of 41 years, Neva T. Shirley; Son & Daughter-in-law, Robert & Nubia Shirley of Panama; Daughter & Son-in-law, Sherri & Ron Hill of Maryville; Grandchildren, David Fowler, Jill Cable, Christy Dixon, Michael Shirley, and Travis Dixon; Great-Grandchildren, Teagan & Cate Fowler, Chase Dixon, Nathan Glisson, Brent & Alex Dixon, Rachel Cable, and Adam Shirley. Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charley McNutt officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 2, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
