James M. Scott of Louisville passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. He retired from ALCOA with 35 years of service. He was a U.S Army veteran and a member of Armona Baptist Church. James is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Ruth Scott; sisters, June Finchum and Karen Rogers; brother, Eddie Scott; grandparents; Creed and Mable Samples. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Scott; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Alicia Strevel Scott, Greg and Amy Scott; grandchildren, Johnathan Gorenflo, Brittney Patrick, and Cole Patrick; brother-in-law, Lawrence Finchum; half-sister, Pam Roysten; special niece, Jenni Johnson and husband, Josh; special nephew, Samuel Wood and wife, Meredith.
