James Jim Roberts

Jim Roberts age 75 of Maryville passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the US Army. Jim was a former President of Eagleton Little League and coached for many years. He was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Jim loved sports and thoroughly enjoyed watching his grandchildren in all their activities. Preceded in death by: Parents, Henry & Gertrude Roberts. Survivors include: Wife, June Roberts; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Jeff & Emily Roberts, Jack & Lisa Roberts, Thunder & Connie Roberts; Grandchildren, Kenda, Justin, Bailie, Joseph, Will, Caroline, J.T., Tate; Sister & Brother-in-law, Joyce & Roy Cook; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
