James P. Richards, M.D.

James P. Richards, M.D., age 83, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Dr. Richards was born July 4, 1930 in Knoxville, TN, son of the late Paul Richards and Dacy Counts Richards. James is preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Chris Richards. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Laura Anne Richards; daughter and son-in-law, Dee Anne and Randy Todd; daughter, Lisa Wascher; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Joyce Richards; grandchildren, Christopher Richards and Ian Wascher. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and entombment at 1:30 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel.
