James E. Lovingood

James E. Lovingood age 81 of Maryville passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Summit View of Knoxville. James retired from ALCOA with 28 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and loved to make fishing lures (Reel McCoy & Top Secret). He also enjoyed UT Football. Preceded in death by: Parents, Dwight & Evelyn Lovingood; Brother, D.L. Lovingood; Sisters, Wilma Ray and Fran Carroll. Survivors include: Wife, Helen (Joyce) Lovingood; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jim & Missy Lovingood; Daughter, Melinda Lovingood; Granddaughters, Heather Jean Lovingood and Alison Lea Lovingood; Sisters, Ern Foster and Kathryn Parker; Special friends, Mike & Sharon Summey & Family. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Terry Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
