James Owen Large

James O. Large age 72 of Townsend passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at home. He was a Veteran of United States Air Force in Germany. James retired from Norfolk Southern as a Railroad Detective. He had a great passion for traveling which took he and his wife around the world. He was an avid family man who will truly be missed. Preceded in death by: Parent, Charles Monroe Large & Ruth Carden Large. Survivors include: Devoted Wife of 50 years, Patricia Daniel Large; Son & Daughter-in-law, Charles Daniel & Susan Large of Macon, GA; Daughter, Heidi Louise Large and Life Partner, Mendy Jones of Seymour; Granddaughter, Danielle Large; Sister & Brother-in-law, Donna & Fred Biggs of Houston, TX; Brother & Sister-in-law, William & Ronnie Large of Houston, TX; Brother-in-law, Don Daniel; Special Niece, Terry; Other Nieces and Nephews, Tracey, Rodney, Lisa & Jennifer; Best Friend, Darrell Thomas; Beloved Pet, Loki.
