James Leroy “Papoo” Huff age 73 of Maryville born May 2, 1944, was called home April 29, 2018. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Rockford Masonic Lodge. James was also a member of Logan’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He was retired from Western Electric, was a former Blount County Commissioner for 12 years, and an avid farmer and owner of Riverbend Farms. Preceded in death by: Parents, Roy & Genevieve Huff; Sister, Evelyn Huff; Sister-in-law, Polly Huff; Daughter & Son-in-law, Becky & Steve Adkins. Survivors include: Beloved Wife, Ann Huff; Children, Robin Edington, Marty Huff (Shannon); Grandchildren, Corey Dalton, Ciara & Joey Hall, Brittany & Danny Brown, Chelsey Huff (David), Allison & Buddy Wilburn; Great-Grandchildren, Kailey, Julie, Kaylyn, Colton & Jaxon Brown, Kali & Camden Hall, Beckley Dalton, & Zayne Wilburn; Brother & Sisters, Robert & Glenda Huff, Janice & Cecil Walker, Phillip Huff, Charles & Linda Huff, Yvonne Pickens; several nieces and nephews and many beloved friends. Family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Masonic and funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Ann Robbins officiating. Interment will be at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Logan’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
