James R. Hatcher

James R. Hatcher, age 82 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the family home. He was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include his wife, Iva Hatcher; sons & daughters-in-law, Ruben & Diane Hatcher of Cleveland, Frank & Brenda Hatcher of Maryville, Jerry Hatcher of Louisville, Edward Hatcher of Louisville; daughters & sons-in-law, Cynthia & Raymond Russell of Maryville, Donna & Rick Rogers of Louisville, Charlotte Breeden of Louisville; 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother & sister-in-law, Andrew & Janet Hatcher of Louisville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Gail & Steve Day of Maryville, Louellen Wolfenbarger of Maryville, Hilda & Gerald Kidd of Georgia, Myrtle Ann & Cletis Morton of Loudon, Arvina Boling of Maryville, Elsie Rhodes of Louisville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry DeVault officiating.
