James Robert "Bob" Garrison

James Robert “Bob” Garrison, age 75 of Maryville passed away September 12, 2016. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of The United States Army, a fireman with The City of Maryville Fire Department, worked at Alcoa Aluminum Co. with 15 years of service and in his 50s he returned to college to earn his Funeral Directors and Embalmers license. He retired from Smith Funeral & Cremation Service with 15 years of service and was part of the Maryville Citizen Police Academy. Preceded in death by: parents, James “Jim” and Ellen Garrison. Survivors: wife of 52 years, Wanda Garrison, sons and daughters-in-law, James and Pam Garrison and Ryan and Renee Garrison; grandchildren, Reone Garrison, Cody Garrison U.S.A.F., Kaylor Garrison and Trent Garrison; great granddaughter, Nevaeh. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service at 7:00 pm with Steve Riley officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm Friday, September 16, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery for interment service at 1 pm. Pallbearers will be the staff of Smith Funeral & Cremation Service.
