James A. Davis

James A."Bunt"Davis age 94 of Greenback, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman. He attended Hickory Valley Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Y12 of Oak Ridge. He was an avid antique dealer and collector. Mr. Davis will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Martha Davis; brothers, George W. "Pete" Davis and Elmer H. "Bo" Davis; sisters, Allie Davis & Bell White. Survivors include his former wife and friend, Annie Davis of DeLand, FL; sons & daughters-in-law, James R. "Jim" & Donna Davis of Maryville, Michael & Faye Davis of Greenback, Jeffrey Davis of Orange City, FL; daughters & sons-in-law, Kathy & John Reener of DeLand, FL, Mary Ann Migatz of Freeport, IL, Alesia & Dan McDougal of Martin, TN, Janelle Davis of DeLand, FL; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Kelsey & Iva Faye Davis of Amarillo, TX; numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral service 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 18, 2009 Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Carl White & Rev. Charley Carpenter officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Davis' memory to your favorite charity.
