James L. Browning

Browning, James L. age 78 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Lavinia, Tennessee. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Conley Frog & Switch Co. in Memphis, TN with 40 years of service. Preceded in death by: Parents, JD & Zelma Browning; Grandparents, Ernest & Nettie Browning and Wiley & Madge Hopper; Brother, Thomas Browning. Survivors include: Wife of 48 years, Narmel Browning; Sons, Ronald Browning of Alcoa, TN and Richard Browning of Lexington, KY; Grandchildren, Andrew & Meredith Browning; Cousin, Wallace Shuford of Lavinia, TN; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Thursday, June 1, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Private interment.
