James W. Boling

James "Jim" W. Boling age 80 of Townsend, passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at the family home surrounded by his loving family. Jim was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church of Seymour. He enjoyed farming and spending time with the horses. Jim also owned his own roofing company. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time in the Great Smokey Mountains. Preceded by: parents, Tom and Trula Boling, grandson David Branch and two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Vicki Boling, Daughters, Karen Sands, Sally Branch, Dalicia Boling, Tina Johnson, Jamie Boling and Kaitlin Boling. Grandchildren; Angie King, Christie West, Keith Sands, Kelly Drake, Larry Johnson and Andy Boling. Great Grandchildren; Ryan King, Dustin and Casey Cowan, Hunter and Blake Sands and Corey and Chris Branch, brother Howard Boling, sisters Agnes Smith, Ina Ruth Bohannon, Dorothy Dinkins and Libby Brown. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 6, 2012 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Edsel West officiating. The interment will be private.
