James Webb Baxter

James Webb Baxter age 78 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Ira & Alta Pearl Baxter; brother, George Ira Baxter. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Baxter; son, Tommy Baxter of Maryville; daughter, Donna Jean Hall of Georgia; granddaughter, Darrah Johnson; great-grandson, Luke Johnson; sister & brother-in-law, Mary Alice & Jimmy Horton; sister-in-law, Eloise Baxter all of Georgia. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Smith Funeral Chapel. The family & friends will assemble at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 for Graveside service & Interment at TN Veterans Cemetery, Lyon’s View Pike, Knoxville with full military honors.
