Jama Johnson Hamil of Friendsville, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Gene Hamil; Parents, Floyd & Helen Johnson; Sister & Brother-in-law, Dortha Hicks Sing and James Hicks; Brother & Sister-in-law, Ray & Louise Johnson; Brother-in-law, Gene Cowan. Survivors include: Daughter, Terri Hamil; Very Special Friend, Becca Daniels; Sisters, Maxine Cowan, Carolyn & Bill Crisp; Nieces, Staci & Any Lawhorn, Lynda & Charlie Long, Vickie & Randy Gray; Great Nieces, Andi Love Lawhorn; Great Nephew, Ty Hamilton Lawhorn. Very special thanks to Dr. Mark & Debbie Green & Tammy Payne at East Tennessee Internal Medicine. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Middlesettlements Church Cemetery.
