Jama Charles Dyer

Jama Charles Dyer age 53 of Maryville passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at UT Hospital. She was an employee of Talbot’s Service Center for over 20 years. Jama bravely fought Diabetes for 42 years and despite all of her obstacles, she always had a positive attitude. She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Charles, Sr,; maternal grandparents, Carl and Eva Morton; paternal grandparents, John and Gertrude Charles. Survivors include her mother, Betty Charles; twin brother and sister-in-law, James and Susan Charles; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Rusty Lowe; nieces and nephews, Josh Charles and Teresa Allmon, Allison Charles, Ryan Morrow and fiancé, Elyse Burkhardt, Tyler Morrow, Caitlin Lowe, Mei Li Charles, and Regan Lowe; special friend, Pat Tyrrell and many other family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Bob Lynch officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 211 Center Park Drive, Suite 3010, Knoxville, TN 37922 in memory of Jama.
