Jackie Ray Hall

Jackie Ray Hall Sr. age 66 of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord and his children, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and deeply loved his family. Jackie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend with a giving and loving spirit. He enjoyed camping and restoring old cars, fishing, and just being with his family. Jackie will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by: Son, Jackie Ray Hall Jr.; Daughters, Wilma Cansler and Carolyn Morton; Brother, Lowell Hall; Grandson, Adam Ray Hall. Survivors include: Wife of 50 years, his one and only love, Lorene Hall; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Joy Lynn & John McCampbell and Sharon & George Johnson all of Maryville; Daughter, Tammy Sue Hall of Maryville; Son-in-law, Jim Morton of Maryville; Grandchildren, James Keller, Jessica Young & husband David, George Eugene Johnson, Joshua Ray Johnson & wife Jenni Wood, Kim Raby, Glenda Scott, Jim Morton, Carolyn Arden, Amy Renee Cansler, Daniel Lee Hall, and Katie Hall; Great-Grandchildren, James Keller, George Eugene Johnson III, Annie Nichole Johnson, Mason Ray Johnson, Amber Raby, Dewayne Raby, Michael Scott, Dallas Jackson, and Devon Cansler; Brothers, Charles Robert Hall, Howard Hall, and David Hall all of Maryville; Sisters, Janie Hall of Knoxville and Carolyn VanMiddlesworth of MO; Cousin, Elmer McHaffie; Lifelong childhood friend, Bobby Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Charles Carpenter officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Smith West Chapel.
