Jack P. Coker age 72 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Shannondale Nursing Center. Jack coached Maryville Bears and Cubs Football for 25 years. He was a hairdresser for 40 years and owned The House of Hair. Jack also owned Lakeview Nursery. He was a landscaper, grower, and avid golfer. Preceded in death by: Parents, Walt & Lib Coker; Nanaw and Granddaddy Coker; Grandmother and Granddaddy Prater; Brother-in-law and longtime friend, Mike White. Survivors include: Wife, Charae Coker; Son & Daughter-in-law, Chad & Selena Coker of Louisville; Granddaughter, Carson Elizabeth Coker; Brother & Sister-in-law, Ned & Kay Coker; Nieces & Nephews, Julie & Jeff French and Shay & Laura Coker and their children; Mother-in-law, Donna White Hardin; Sister-in-law, Susan White and her children Mike, Nick & wife Lora, Rachel White and their children; Special friends and Golf Buddies, Tobby, Larry, Ronnie, R.H., Wayne, Denny, Herb, and Reed; Fishing Buddy, Kenny Coulter; Longtime friends, Pete Webb, Joe Kenneth Melton, and Shan Harris; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Shannondale Health Care Nursing Center and Blount Memorial Hospice. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Private entombment at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.
