J. B. Snoderly, Jr.

J.B. Snoderly Jr. age 91 of Alcoa passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at home surrounded by family. He was a member of Armona Baptist Church, a lifelong farmer who moved from Union County to Blount County over 80 years ago, and served on The Board of Directors for Blount County Mutual Insurance. Preceded in death by: Parents, J.B. & Rowena Snoderly; Granddaughter, Audrey Elizabeth Southall; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Wife of 70 years, Mildred H. Snoderly; Sons & Daughters-in-law, David & Susan Snoderly and Steve & Kim Snoderly; Daughter & Son-in-law, Sharon & Milton Southall; Grandchildren, Shane & Laura Snoderly, Jeremy & Courtney Snoderly, Derek & Kati Snoderly, Tracey & Tracy Stokes, Scott & Crystal Hill, Dan & Amy Cummings; Great-Grandchildren, Charles & Emma Stokes, Brock & Ebby Hill, Brett, Bryson, & Daniel Snoderly, Caden Cummings, and Brycen Eddy. Funeral service will be at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Grandview Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Dalton and Rev. Bruce Yates officiating.
