Ivan Henry Ashworth, age 86, passed away on April 11, 2016, of natural causes. Ivan was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War, He was a retired meat cutter from Kroger’s and owned the Tuckaleechee Mobile Home Park In Townsend just outside the Great Smoky Mountains. Ivan loved the mountains here in Townsend, where he lived with his wife, Mary Ann, of 66 years and enjoyed his family. He is survived by five children & their families, nine grandchildren & their families, and three great grandchildren. We are such a blessed family to have had him in our lives. Love You Dad! Angels are holding you now. Family will receive friends from 9:15 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Townsend. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM with Father Daniels officiating. A Luncheon will be served in the St. Francis Social Hall immediately following the burial services.
