Iva P. Wilson

Iva P. Wilson, age 100, of Maryville, formerly of Gatlinburg, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. Iva was a longtime member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and was an original resident of Elkmont prior to its status as a National Park. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Wilson; granddaughter, Kathy Hayes; son-in-laws, Ralph Hayes of Maryville, and Tom Colvard of Gatlinburg; 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors include her Daughters, Johnie Hayes of Maryville, and Dorothy Colvard of Gatlinburg. grandchildren, Mark Hayes and Greg & Kim Hayes of Maryville, Libby Latham of Gatlinburg and fiancé, Jim Murphy of Powell, Jane and Tom Eisaman of Gatlinburg; great grandchildren, Jimmy Webb III of Chattanooga, and Bracken and Breanna Scott; sisters, Louise White and Maxine Nick, both of Dalton, Ga; many nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. A Celebration of Iva's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Raymond Burnette officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
