Iva Mae Weaver

Iva Mae Medlin Fitzgerald Weaver, age 80 of Maryville passed peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, November 07, 2009 at Asbury Place. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy F. and Myrtle J. Medlin and Sister, Mary Lee Lance. Survivors include Daughter, Patricia Gale Newman of Maryville; Son and Daughter-in-law, Michael and Catherine Fitzgerald of Boston, Massachusetts; Sisters, Rosa Bell Vaden of Maryville, and Ruby Spangler of Greenback; Brother, Roy Medlin Jr. of Maryville; Grandchildren, Robert L. Newman of Maryville and John Fitzgerald of New York; Great Grandchildren, Emily Newman (age 10), Surya Fitzgerald (age 9) and Alina Fitzgerald (age 5). The family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2009 for Graveside Services and Interment in the historic Morganton Cemetery with Barry Clanton of Blount Christian Church officiating.
