Iva Joyce Alexander Berrier, age 73, of Alcoa, died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at U.T. Hospital. Mrs. Berrier was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Roger D. Alexander and Mary Zella Nelson. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ellis Rankin Berrier; son, Robert Ellis Berrier and wife, Heather; daughter, Janet Lee Bledsoe and husband, Loren; grandchildren, Derek Loren Bledsoe and wife, Christa, Brooke Maleah Strayn and husband, Nathan, Hope Alexis Bledsoe, Lauren Elizabeth Berrier, Robert Harrison Berrier; sister, Barbara Ellen Lillard; Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Joe Green officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the Interment Service.
