Irene Elizebeth Davis

Davis, Irene Elizebeth age 88 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Alcoa. She was a lifelong homemaker and provider for her family and an avid seamstress. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Davis; son, Cecil Davis; parents, William & Carrie Irwin; brothers, Ray & J.B. Irwin; sisters, Ella Mae Stoll & Ruth Stemen; daughter-in-law, Eva Davis. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, James & Lois Davis, Joe & Sandy Davis all of Maryville; grandchildren, Mike Davis, Sharon Bryant, Jo Ann Sweet, Janice Hall, Jennifer Moore & Phillip Davis; step-granddaughters, Lori Jones & Traci McLemore; 16 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Lewis Irwin of Knoxville; and a host of other family members too numerous to list. Funeral service 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2007, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. George Gilbert & Rev. Greg Kelly officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International North Camp, P.O.
