Ina Huskey Tipton

Ina Huskey Tipton, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the early morning hours on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Born in Elkmont to Luther and Emma Huskey, she shared her love for the Lord with all who met her. She was a charter member of Oak View Baptist Church where she faithfully served until her health prevented her from doing so. She also belonged to Martha Washington Eastern Star in Rockford. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Carson Tipton, Sr., Parents, Brothers: Shird Huskey, Burl Huskey, Jay Huskey, and Eugene Huskey; Sisters: Ruth Tipton, Merle Wiliamson, Beulah Huskey, Velma Hood, Nellie Locke, Vita Patty, and Blanche Rooks. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth (Monica) Tipton and Carson (Terry) Tipton, all of Walland; grandsons and wives: Chad (Meghan) Tipton of Maryville, Matthew (Lindsay) Tipton of Montgomery, AL, Blake (Jennifer) Tipton of Maryville, and Chase (Monica) Tipton of Walland; nine great grandchildren: Raelynne, Callan, Neyland, Truett, Duke, Laurel, Cade, Lily and Graham; Sisters: Shirley (Phil) Couch and Lois Hatfield; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Oak View Baptist in Walland from 2:00 until 3.00 on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Dr. Charles Bailey officiating.
