Imogene Ruth Hill

Imogene Ruth Hill age 90 of Maryville went to join her husband of 70 years, Conard L. Hill on Friday, August 10, 2012 at home. She was a member of Lone Oak & Gray Ridge Baptist Church for 64 years. Imogene retired from Alcoa City Schools. Preceded in death by: Son, Jerry L. Hill, Sr.; Great-Grandson, Tanner Jamison; Son-in-law, Bill Keith; Parents, Dewey Simonds & Aretta Simonds Bivens; Step Dad, Bill Bivens; Sisters, Alene Russell & Dean McConnell; Brother, Dewey G. Simonds. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sarah L. & Joe Tipton, Janice K. & David Houser of Knoxville, and Becky A. & Larry Hayes; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Connie Gene & Charlotte Hill and Ricky Hill of Knoxville; 15 Grandchildren; 28 Great-Grandchildren; 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Billy Bivens of Kentucky and W.C. Simonds of Knoxville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Very special thanks to our Hospice Family, Faithful Friends, Jim & Betty Rose, and Delbert & Peggy Raines. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor Delbert Raines, Pastor Quinten Caldwell, and Pastor Curt Jones officiating.
