Ida Elizabeth Bowers Owenby age 83 of Walland, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the family home. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mamaw, and friend. She was a charter member of Oak View Baptist Church and a member of Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by: Parents, William Thomas and Flora Bowers; Husband, Stanley Owenby; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, W.T. & Wilma Bowers, Joe & Eunice Bowers; Sister & Brother-in-law, Dorothy & Lloyd Keeble; Brothers-in-law, Don Owenby, Glenn Owenby, Gerald Dixon; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, Hubert & Cora Owenby; Nieces, Gwen Dixon & Charlotte Mynatt; Grandson, Danny Dunlap. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Glenda & Charlie Harrill, Janice & John Dunlap, Debbie & John Bailey; Grandchildren, Kelly Harrill (Jason) Beddingfield, Amanda Dunlap (Chris) Noe; Sherrie Dunlap, Travis (Beth) Dunlap, Brandon (Jackie) Bailey, Hunter and Elizabeth Bailey; Great-Grandchildren, Aidan & Abby Beddingfield, Christopher & Laney Noe, Will & Andrew Dunlap, Mason Mikels; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Jimmie Owenby of Chattanooga, Bruce & Mae Owenby of Maryville, Lloyd & Lorene Wilhite of Maryville, Harold & Jewell Headrick of Chattanooga, Louise & Ronny Crum of Seymour; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, church family, friends, and relatives. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Huffstetler officiating.
