Hubert Waters

Hubert Waters age 79 of Walland passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Centenial Presbyterian Church, Veteran of the US Army, Co-owner of Davis Lumber Co. and worked there for 47 years. Preceded in death by: Special friend, Gladys Lowe; Parents, Jacob & Pauline L. Waters; Sister, Velma Christine Ward Trent; Brother, James Arnold Waters. Survivors include: Sister, Violet Ellen Miles of Maryville; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Lester D. & Mary Waters of Maryville and Spears & Thelma Waters of Maryville; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend and business partner, Billie Hitson. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, May 22, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2009 at W. Millers Cove Cemetery.
