Howard Eldredge Teffeteller

Howard “Eldredge” Teffeteller age 89 of Maryville passed away Saturday, May 07, 2016 at his home. He retired from ALCOA with 44 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and loved traveling, camping, gardening and working on his farm. He especially loved and enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Will H. Teffeteller and Ruby Russell Teffeteller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey N. Cooper and Beulah McNeilly Cooper; brothers, Raymond Teffeteller and JC Teffeteller; sister-in-law, Jewel Teffeteller. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Frances Cooper Teffeteller; daughter, Connie (Jim) Bradley; son, Doug (Debi) Teffeteller; grandchildren, Heather (Shawn) Clayborne, Jeremy (Katie) Teffeteller, Hilary (Richard) Storie, Randy (Sarah) Teffeteller; great grandchildren, Ashton, Riley, Caleb, Jacob and Adelyn; brothers, Kenneth (Roselle) Teffeteller, James M. Teffeteller, Lindell (Edith) Teffeteller, Don (Imogene) Teffeteller, Larry (Jo) Teffeteller; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Teffeteller, and Sherry Teffeteller; seven nephews and seven nieces; special friend, Marge Yaeger. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice for the care shown to him during his illness. The family will receive friends from 500 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment.
