Howard “Skip�? Flynn, age 63, of Friendsville passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at home after a courageous six year battle with multiple myeloma. He was a 1965 graduate of Walland High and a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. Skip was preceded in death by: Parents, Howard & Susie Flynn of Walland. Survivors include: Wife, Tina Flynn of Friendsville; Children, Janelle & (Rick) Johnson of Maryville and Justin & (Chantel) Flynn of Walland; Grandchildren, Aaron & Emily Johnson, Sarah & Sadie Flynn; Former Wife, Juanita & (Bill) Robertson of Knoxville; Mother-in-law, Anne Atkinson of Young Harris, GA. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Smith Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Mike Parker officiating. Family will meet at 10:15 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession for the 11:00AM graveside service at West Miller’s Cove Cemetery.
