Horace Roosevelt Long

Horace R. Long, age 85 of Maryville, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 14, 2023.  Horace was born May 4, 1937 in Maryville and was retired from Harrison Construction Company after many years of service.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Neva Long; His wife, Peggy; Son, Jeff Long; Brother and Sister, Robert Long and Helen Davis.  He is survived by his son, Donald Long; Grandson, David Long; brothers, Ernest Jr, Wade, and Ralph Long; Sister, Imogene King;  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with a Masonic Service to follow at 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rockford Masonic lodge #469 at 3741 Old Knoxville Hwy, Rockford, TN 37853.  Condolences may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com
