Herbert A. Jenkins

Herbert A. Jenkins, age 88, of Louisville passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Herbert was a resident of Shannondale of Maryville and the family would like to extend a special thanks to all the employees for their loving care and support. He was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church in Mentor, and the Army National Guard. He retired from ALCOA with over 40 years of service and was a member of their 25 Year-Club. Herbert was a long time Real Estate broker. Preceded in death by his wife, Edna Jenkins; son, Jeff Jenkins; parents, Homer and Lennie Jenkins; siblings, Newell and J. Will Jenkins, Violet McKeehan. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Joyce Jenkins, Terry and Donna Jenkins, and Scott and Susan Jenkins; grandchildren, Chris Jenkins, Mike Jenkins, Heather Walker, Mandy Clement, Tara Onks, Matthew Jenkins, Beth Jenkins, and Leslie Jenkins; great grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Jenkins, Megan Jenkins, Bailey Jenkins, Keely McLain, Kendyl Onks, Sydney Onks, and Evan Clement, Caleb Huffstetler; great-great grandchild, Ava Glover; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Methodist Church. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Smith West Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 with Rev. Tyson McKeehan and Rev. Rex Rogers officiating.
