Henry Edward “Butch” Vananda, Jr. age 68, of Knoxville, born November 30, 1946, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, in Murfreesboro, TN. Butch retired from Formall Plastics after 40 years and served three tours in Vietnam with the US Navy. Preceded in death by: Parents, Henry Edward & Lois Linginfelter Vananda; Sister, Doris Padgett; and Brother-in-law, Col. Robert Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Judy Johnson Vananda; Daughter, Judy Heatherly & husband, Darrell; sons, Eddie Vananda III and Randall Vananda; Grandsons, Eddie Vananda IV, Dylan Badali, Brian Badali & fiancée, Brittany Adams, and her father, John Adams; Granddaughters, Savannah, Sabrina, and Sarah Heatherly; Sister, Phyllis Vananda Thompson; Brother-in-law, Robert E. Padgett; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
