Henry Clay Hartgrove, age 80 of Maryville, TN, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Henry retired from White Lily Foods Co. with 38 years of service. Preceded in death by: Parents, Nell & Willet Hartgrove; Brothers, Leo Hartgrove and Carlos Hartgrove; Mother-in-law & Father-in-law, Dorothy & Ben Mills; Brother-in-law, Ron Mills. Survivors include: Wife of 49 years, Becky Hartgrove of Maryville; Son, Todd Hartgrove of Maryville; Two granddaughters, Morgan Hartgrove and Madi Hartgrove of Maryville; One grandson, James Clay Hartgrove of Maryville; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Polly & Clinton Littleton of Beaufort, NC and Faye & Gene Harless of Florence, SC; Sisters, Ruth Stubbs of Atlanta, GA and Melba McCoy of Florence, SC; Sister-in-law, Millie Hartgrove of Maynardville, TN; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Jeff & Linda A. Mills of Sevierville, TN; Sisters-in-law, Jeanne Mills of Maryville and Linda R. Mills of Buchanan, GA; several beloved nieces, nephews, friends and special neighbors. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Fairview United Methodist Church, 2508 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN with Gilbert Harris officiating. Family and friends will assemble for entombment at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
