Helen Juanita Pierce

Helen Juanita Magness Pierce age 88, born April 29, 1925 went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Wood Village in Sweetwater, TN. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Friendsville First Baptist Church. Juanita was a graduate of Everett High School and a lifelong resident of Blount County. Preceded in death by: Husband, Charles Edward "Buster" Pierce; Parents, Sam & Sophia Magness; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Arthur & Dolly Pierce; Brothers-in-law, Robert Leo Johnson, Lynn F. Pierce, and James Donald Pierce. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Wanda & Jerry Hayes of Friendsville; Grandchildren, Melanie & Mark Hoffman of Alcoa, Lorrie & Bryan Long of Kingston, Doug & DeAnn Hayes of Maryville; Nine great-grandchildren; Sister, Lolita "Dobbin" Johnson; Sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Pierce and Linda Pierce both of Friendsville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Doug Hayes officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the interment at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Clark's Grove Cemetery.
