Helen Imogene Lane

Helen Imogene Lane-age 70 of Maryville was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 27, 2009 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Helen was affectionately known as “Heno�? by her family and friends. She was a devoted Christian wife, loving mother, and caring sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Mae Smith; brother, Shirley Lee Smith; sister, Edith Marie Smith; sons, David (Tony“G�?) Lane and Johnny Lane; mother and father in law, Clarence & Marie Lane; sister in law, Shelia Helton. Helen is survived by her husband, Clarence Lane; daughters, Lisa Lane and Rita Lane; and son and daughter in law, Paul and Melissa Lane. Helen is also survived by her sister and brother in law, Charlotte and Ralph Hopper; brother in law and sister in law, Bill and Della Lane; aunt, Katie Shubert and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at Six Mile Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 7:00 pm with Charles Murrell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 6:00 pm. Family and friends will assemble for the interment at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
