Hazel Maxine Rush

Hazel Maxine Rush, age 76 of Walland, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at Select Specialty of Ft. Sanders Hospital.  She loved The Lord and attended Piney Level Baptist Church.  She enjoyed watching and feeding her birds and spending time with her family.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Edith Dalton; Her husbands, George Alvin Widick and Gary Leroy Rush.  Survived by her children and their spouses, Keith Widick and Scott and Colette Widick of Denver Colorado, Greg Widick of Walland, Jason Rush of Walland, Heather Widick of Townsend, Deanna and Pete Schaefer of Maryville, and Dawn Rush of Arizona; grandchildren, Callie Everett, Andrew Everett, Hannah Everett, Devon Widick, Kaylani Widick, Valen Widick, Cody Widick, Maddy Rocky, Marissa and Zack Grimm, Justin and Logan Long, and Mariah Schafer; great-grandchildren, Inaiah Widick, Finley Long, and Maverick Grimm; brother, Larry Dalton of Colorado; and sister, Kathleen Padgett of Lead, Arkansas; niece, Sarah and Jeff Duncan of Montana; and nephew, Grant and Ashley Dalton.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Smith Life Event Center.  A Celebration of Hazel’s life will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev.
