Harriett Ruth Bell Day, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Preceded in death by: Husband, Gene (Dusty) Day; Parents, Sam & Vallie Bell of Andrews, NC; Sisters, Lucille Bell of Andrews, NC and Juanita Crisp of Clarksville, TN; Brother, R.S. (Rusty) Bell of Andrews, NC. Survivors include: Children & their spouses, Jess & Ginger Day of Madisonville, TN, Sharon (Day) & David Boring of Dalton, GA, Rev. Ronald & Alice Day of Maryville, Doris Ann (Day) & Ronnie Thompson of Rockwood, Sam & Brenda Day of Maryville, Howard & Mary Day of Greenback, and Benita (Day) & Brian Moody of Maryville; Special Niece, Elizabeth (Snooks) West & husband Maurice of Marble, NC; Nine Grandchildren; Eleven Great-Grandchildren. A private family service will be held on August 20, 2009 with interment at Kagley’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
