Harold D. Myers

Harold Myers age 84 of Walland passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a born again Christian, a hardworking loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was retired from Allison Craft Boat Company. He is preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Joyce Myers; daughters and son-in-law Terry Myers Bivens and Brenda and Mike Boring; grandchildren Rachael and Greg Whitehead and Lucas and Brittani Boring; great grandchildren Mary, Katie, Johanna, Sonora and Ezekiel Whitehead and Lydia and Elijah Boring; 102 year old mother in law, Bertie West and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 with Rev. Mike Boring and Rev. Lucas Boring officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at West Millers Cove Church Cemetery for the interment.
