Harold Franklin Keller, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home. He retired as a machinist from ALCOA. He was an "Appalachian engineer"- he could fix anything, and if he didn't have the part, he would make it. He loved to meet new people and was a Christian who readily shared his faith. He and his loving wife, Sue, would get up in the morning and take off on a drive just to see where they would end up. His favorite things to do included hiking and camping in the mountains. He had a passion for learning new things and sharing with the people around him- especially his family. Preceded in death by his daughter, Christina LeAnn Keller. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Sue (Turbyfill) Keller; daughters, Shari Keller, Kathy (Dale) Taylor; grandchildren, Brandi (Tommy) Penland, Matthew Cooper, Rob (Cameryn) Taylor, Chelsey Taylor, Tori (Kenny) Cassell; great-grandchildren, Baylee, Keller, Emery, Raelyn, Baby Taylor, Baby Cassell; and bonus great-grandchild, Emerson; good friends and traveling/camping buddies, Doug and Janice Standridge. He was a character who was dearly loved.
