Harold Walker Gamble

Gamble, Jr., Harold W. age 66 of Dalton, GA, formerly of Maryville passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2006 in Rome, GA at Redmond Hospital. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a 1959 graduate of Everett high School and he attended Maryville College. He graduated from Dalton State College where he was a Professor. Preceded in death by parents, Harold, Sr. and Minnie Gamble. Survivors include wife, Dora (Dee) Gamble; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Twilla Corbin of Dalton, GA, Harold W. Gamble, III of Calhoun, GA, Jason and Dawn Pack of Calhoun, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Gamble of Calhoun, GA, Leann and Bob Ellison of Geneva, AL, Victoria and Billy McDonald of Lenoir City, TN; step children, Karen Lynn Pack, Jodie Lee Pack, and Loyd and Lauri Pack; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; brother, Mike Gamble of Friendsville, TN; sister, Mary Gamble of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Billy Tipton of Greenback, TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006 in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2006 at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville, TN 865-983-1000.
