Bogart.  After closing the station, he worked for Metropolitan Life for 25 years.  He and Pat bought Hayes Alignment which they owned for 15 years.  He then went to work in the County Clerk’s office, retiring at age 84.  He served on the Blount County Sheriff’s Merit Board receiving the highest citizen service award in 2017.

Harold loved his antique John Deere tractor.  He had a wonderful personality and was loved by many.  He was a wonderful husband, dad, and papaw.  He and Pat celebration 51 years of marriage in August.  They met at the Billy Graham Crusade in Knoxville.  They loved each other very much.
